Hey!

Rose & Chrome was created after my daughter was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder when she was 2. Once she turned 5 it became harder to find basics like bibs that fit her (she was a chubba bubba lol) and most importantly were stylish and age appropriate. So a sewing machine was purchased and off I went.

Over time connecting with people who are also experiencing different journeys in life I found myself making more items that were needed. That was when I decided I would create an online store where I hope people find joy at being able to find items that they need.

 I want this to be your happy space.

Just because we experience different journeys in life doesn’t mean it has to be bland or oversized. It is an opportunity to show our personalities, colour preferences, favourite styles and in general the opportunity to make choices and to make choices that give dignity.

In NZ it can be hard to go online looking for a product that could benefit you or your loved one only to find they don’t ship here or if they do the postage is 10 times the amount of the actual product. And that is something that I struggled with. So overtime I have been working with different businesses around the world that are created by parents, grandparents or friends who have brought to life an item or items that will benefit a loved one. As well as items I will sew myself I am hoping to bring in as many of these amazing products here to us so we all have access to these amazing items that give us choice and make life just that little bit easier!
