G Tube Pad - Grey and Spots

Ditch the plain and boring medical gauze and add a touch of colour to your gtube.

Great for soaking up any leakage at the site and can help to reduce granulation.

These pads are reusable, simply machine wash in a laundry delicates bag.

Specifications

Pads are approx. 2.5’’ when snapped closed.

Made from 3 layers of fabric. 

Top layer - cotton or cotton jersey

Middle layer - flannelette

Bottom layer - bamboo velour (this is the layer against your skin)

Snaps added which will vary in colour.

Although these pads are made to add a bit of colour, they should not be uncomfortable or irritate the site and surrounding skin which is why I hand sew them closed to ensure there is absolutely no hard seams touching the skin, only the beautifully soft bamboo velour !

These pads should be changed regularly just as you would with gauze to ensure the skin stays dry and clean.

If you require a larger sized pad, flick me a message and I can make them up. If enough interest for larger pads I will make them a regular on the website, in the meantime for now will just do as custom orders.

Please consult with your medical team that gtube pads are right for you as not all sites require an absorbent pad around them.

Care instructions

All fabric is pre washed and dried to allow for shrinkage.

Please wash all items before using.

Machine wash in a laundry delicates bag in a cold/warm wash.

Once dry, if pad is not flat enough they can be lightly ironed flat with a warm iron on the cotton side only not on the bamboo side.

Machine drying may cause product to shrink over time.
